survived bush's wholesale incompetence? America has built up reserve strength in the 200+ years of her existence, particularly after World War II. Bush has squandered much of it away. Without this safety net already in place when bush was installed, would America have survived such a disastrous presidency?

What disaster has befallen America? Our economy is great. Saddam is dead. Al Quiada is a fraction of it's former self. 75% of Iraq is quietly rebuilding. We are on the verge of turning Iraq over to a new Democratic government. What disaster do you speak of? You Liberals will scream failure even after Iraq is stable and Our troops have left.
