I have just found that I really, really love sprinkled cinnamon on top of say strawberry ice cream, with dark chocolate ice cream and vanilla or cinnamon ice cream...but, really with any flavor, it tastes yummy!
have you ever tried this? also what toppings are your favorites, and how did you find out about them? for me, I knew that it would be good for me as a diabetic..(it makes the sugars go down, for some odd reason!) but, also I wanted to try it...and it is soooo good!
I also love sugar free fudge, or sugar free caramel...wish that they had sugarfree marshmellow! oh well!

My addiction use to be the healthy choice cappucino chocolate chunk ice cream...that is soooo delish...I would finish one,and then go out and buy another, and another...it was a dangerous habit...and not a healthy one for me in the slightest!LOL!

I am a total fan of soft serve ice cream or yogurt. I love colored sprinkles on my ice cream. I used to always have chocolate sprinkles but one day I wanted a little color in my life so I switched. I can't really taste much of a difference, but I like to look at the colors. As I'm hypoglycmic I really shouldn't be eating a lot of sugar, but this is my one treat to myself on occassions.
I'm glad that you found that you love the cinnamon on top of your ice cream as it must be hard to be diabetic and be so limited. Actually there is a place where you can get sugar free marshmellow. It's not the best in the world, but if you haven't had any in ages, it will seem wonderful to you. There is a site called the Low Carb Conniseur, that was set up originally along with Atkins, but even though Atkins isn't all that popular any more the site is going strong. i did get a chocolate marshmallow bunny that had no sugar in it right before the holidays, and I do believe it is ok for diabetics. Give the site a try, they have a lot of chocolates made by Whitman that are all sugar free and taste wonderful. They also had some kind of marshmallow in a jar that you could spread on things, sort of like a topping. I hope you can find some things there that will fit with your needs. Good luck. You can just google the site.

I would offer both, some ppl like ice cream, others prefer frozen yogurt. Try having a variety in what you'd offer and give small samples initially. This is something that has a good supply at the grocery store I've seen so I'd be sure to be creative to try to make more sales vs. there.

I don't see the need to ruin good ice cream with a topping. I would not be opposed to cinnamon on vanilla ice cream to work on the diabetes some but would rather have the cinnamon ice cream. Frogurt is ok but again, I don't need the topping.

Hello:
I LOVE Vanilla Ice Cream with chocolate and of course hot fudge sundaes with bananas and nuts, whipped cream, and a cherry on top,YUMMY!! ;-) I like to try new flavors of ice cream and new flavors of topping too whether it is strawberry,cherry,caramel,etc... I really LOVE Ice Cream Sandwiches,Klondike bars the Vanilla ones dipped in milk chocolate,etc... I have also tried chopped up candy bars such as Snickers,Milky Way,Butterfinger, etc on top of vanilla ice cream and it is also very good!! ;-) I really have to watch myself with the Purity brand of Moose Tracks ice cream which is a chocolate lovers paradise because it is loaded with chocolate ice cream and other goodies too,I could literally eat a 1/2 gallon of Moose Tracks ice cream all by myself,I am not kidding!! *Sighs* :-(

girl you are causing a PROBLEM, you are making me hungry!lol I got to drooling reading all the answers...I bought a half gallon of triple chocolate BB tonight,
I usually buy homemade vanilla, I like it with sliced bananas, or even drizzled with honey, it is tasty too.
I have had cinnamon on ice cream at the Mexican restuarant, they serve ice cream with fried flour tortillas that have cinnamon sugar on it, and lots of whipped cream, with a CHERRY on TOP!

Wheat Germ is good. Also crushed almonds. Fresh fruit is good too. I love chocolate sauce, but I can't have much unless I've made everything myself. I'm allergic to most artificial sugars & perservatives so all that non-fat, & sugar-free stuff is out. Along with a lot of brands of ice cream and yogurts. Thankfully it is not all that difficult to make them at home.

I usually put Hersheys chocolate syrup or caramel on my french vanilla ice cream. I also enjoy banana splits. I really enjoy ice cream, I could almost eat it everyday.

My favorite is: Dreyers (or Edys for some of you) Snickers flavored ice cream, with cashew nuts and some of that chocolate hard shell stuff on top. Needless to say, I can;t indulge in this too often. (well, I could, but I shouldn't)

I like french vanilla ice cream myself. I tend to prefer either a fruity topping like raspberries or blueberries...but if I get in the mood for a liquid topping I tend to go for hot gooey caramel.
On my yogurt, always prefer fruit, again, blueberries, raspberries or sometimes peach and always granola.
