Hey man. Aright first of all like your gonna hear it a million times work hard and never give up. People are going to try to get in your way so don't let them knock you down. use those comments of saying you cant do it and turn it into motivation. enough with that. Size is a place to start its given you can grow automatically. You need a strong frame and plus you must be tall enough to see recievers over the linemen. In the NFL some are as tall as 6' 7''. Hopefully you keep growing 5' 9'' is not bad for your age you have plenty of time. Next weight training. It sounds like you have a good base for strength. Keep working the bench press but be smart about it avoid injury. you are still growing and injury is one of the worst things that could happen to you. DO NOT just bench. i doubt you are but you need to have a strong core, shoulders, forearms, triceps, ... the whole bit. And massive strong legs is a must. Look at the NFL qbs they have tree trunks as legs. Squats, leg presses, leg curls, ... the list goes on. Find workouts that best work for you. If you get bored with one change it up. You must lift on a consistent basis to grow stronger and have muscle endurance. Some of the first steps to the NFL is getting into college and improving at that level. Start finding quarterback camps and other camps too work and become noticed by colleges. If your good enough they will find you. 60 yards is pretty darn good for your age. But distance isnt everything. Continue on improving it but at the same time maintain that accuracy. YOu must have the football smarts at quarterback too. IF your running a Peyton Manning type offense you must have the smarts. You must be speedy and quick though. You must have the ability to avoid rushers and limit sacks. Work on speed drills and quickness drills. 5.5 needs to be quicker. By the time your a junior/senior in high school that should be under 5. I think it will be. Here is a website that has helped me in all three of my sports. www.jumpusa.com check out the jumpsoles. It not only helps with your vert but with 40 time as well. propriocepter i advise to get those if you look into this. You will see some suprises from those. That really helped my athleticism and as opened up 1 extra sport that i could receive scholarships from. Right now im a junior and i have oppurtunites for baseball division 1 scholarship offers, basketball division 1 and 1 AA scholarships and in football some 1 AA scholarships. Now if you have the dream you can suceed. You can make it kid it starts now though. You must work hard never give up like i said. I did forget one thing though you must diet well. Good foods sources of protein vitamins come in your meats and fruits will help you gain a healthy body which leads to that speed and strength. If your not eating right you wont become as athletically fulfilled as you could be.

You got this man 130% all the time and your dream will slowly become a reality.

there's no way that your even close to an NFL level at our(yes our) age. Play high school football, and then you'll see if your even close to being anything near a pro level! Especially if you live in the southern states. I saw a game down there, it was high school, and every time the home team scored, they shot a cannon off. It got annoying because it seemed like it was going off every minute! You still need to grow some more. It wouldn't hurt if you could bench more too. Plus, something could happen from now until college. Plus the odds are stacked against you. I've learned that no matter how good you are, someone is going to be better than you almost guaranteed. Pretty much all the time actually.

If you grow to be at least 6'2 to 6'6 and get to 220 pounds, continue to develop your arm hey, there ain't nothing stopping you. You need to be able to run a bit, be smart on the field and read defenses. If you think you are freakin good and your parents think that also, you need to move to a High School that has a good team so you get recognized by big colleges. Cause if you dont go to a good college how you gonna get to the NFL? Good luck

I don't think you can make an accurate assessment at the eighth grade level. Its not why shouldn't you its why should you make the NFL. You have a long way to go and alot of things can happen i.e injury. Just focus on being the best you can and let the cards fall where they may

You should be able to constantly throw the ball through a car tire's hole from thirty yards away and yes, you need to pump more weights like 100 reps of 250lbs 5 days a week. You have to understand most of these NFL players are monsters that have to have all their clothes custom made because they are so large. You can up your chances of going pro by looking at Arena football, the Canadian football league and look at the European leagues.

First of all, you have a lot of growing to do before you become even close to NFL size.

Secondly, a 120 bench is sad...you should be able to bench your weight and more.

Thirdly, a 5.5 40-time is slow even for an 8th grader.

Other than that, you have a great shot...

Well for one 8th graders are not allowed to play in the NFL. You have to complete high school and go to college. Second, you are too short. Third, too light. Fourth, too slow.

But seriously...you are in 8th grade, wait a few years before you start thinking about the pros.

i've watched alot of the combine, and i think u need a little bit more practice. another way to catch a scout's eye is to, well first practice a lot more, go to a famous college, like miami (devin hester got it pretty great) and DISPLAY YOUR BEST, BEST, BEST SKILLS. so keep trying and get ready for the combine. hope to see you in the super bowl in 6 years or so!!
