I agree. Some people are just becoming too obsessed about global warming. They should just chill out and relax. There is no evidence to support global warming is true anyway.

Global Warming (capitol letters) is really just climate change. The Midwest and northeast will suffer from ice storms, the southeast will have droughts and Atlantic hurricanes will increase.

If you mean the literal global warming (lowercase) its an overall trapping of more greenhouse gases in the
atmosphere.

An off season is just one more sign of the effects of greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere. All the signs are there. Some people think if they bury their head in the sand that the problems from global warming will "go away". Myself? I could give a rat's p'toui except for the fact I have grandchildren.

How can someone type the word 'global' and still not see it?
And did they quit teaching about averages and trends in high school math?

It isn't even so much that I have a settled position on climate change, it's just that some people aren't even in the ball park with how they come to their opinions.

Global warming is a climatic trend. It doesn't necessarily mean that all temperatures are going up. Anyway, cold snaps like this one do happen often in April.

You can't really tell much of anything from isolated incidents. There is some evidence that the earth's temperature is increasing; there is conclusive evidence that the CO2 level is increasing. The key question of the day: which is the cause, and which is the effect?

Ironically, UN report on global warming was just on BBC News not even 5 minutes ago!

We need some of that global warming here in Ohio too.

The warming is causing the the ice caps to melt, making the oceans less saltier, which makes the water heavier. Which then stops the flow of the jetstream, which provides warm water and air to the US. This is why its colder even though global warming is causing it.

Global warming is affecting the natural seasons. My grandfather said they never used to have this much of a fluctuation in weather even 50 years ago.

"global worming" means overall increase in the worlds average temperature and doesn't mean everywhere gets hotter. a better term to use is climate change.

you have to admit that weather patterns have become more erratic lately

in ireland(where im from) i have noticed weather getting hotter and colder where the temperature and weather used to be stagnant. in fact, tropical plant life is now able to be sustained in ireland.
