I just finished watching "Sound of Music" on the ABC Family Channel. Here are a few more of my favorite things...
Enjoy most Rogers & Hammerstein, especially the original South Pacific. When Robert Goulet performed on stage locally, my Mom & I went to see it. She just had to see him one more time.
Pirates of Penzance, with Linda Ronstadt.
Cathy Rigby in Peter Pan - somehow I remembered most of the songs, although I had not heard them in years. I was flying along with Peter.

I love the first 2 that you mentioned - I can't say that I'm a big Phantom fan - I've only seen the movie.
I love Wicked, Urinetown, and the Lion King.
My favorite movie/musical is the Music Man!
I can tolerate Cats - in very small doses.
I can't stand Mamma Mia.

wow this question is impossible. I love so many- I woul dhave to say that my two all time favorites are Wicked and Rent. Phantom of the Opera was amazing as well!
