Is it not a bit boring? Seems to me it is mainly to stay connected to such an immense group of people so as not to feel so lost in the universe. Personally, I think I need to get out more!

Oh yeah, another reason...a lot people appear to be obsessed with getting as many points as possible or a higher percentage of best answers. Do you agree?

Yeah, i started going on like 2 months ago or so just to ask a question about my dog, & now I'm on it everyday, looking at all the questions people ask, answering them sometimes, then asking some questions of my own. I don't know, it doesnt interfere with my personal life, but it is a bit weird. I mean, theres really no point to it, but I'm like addicted lol.

I only recently found Yahoo Answers. I think the whole concept of the site is rather fascinating. I mean, it is regular people helping regular people. no tstrings attatched. There is something really nice about that.
I don't log on everyday, but if I am bored, why not do my best to help someone else out? I have nothing better to do! There is satisfaction in knowing that you have helped a total stranger - you don't owe them anything, and they don't owe you anything. So much of the world has alterior motives, behind everything that is done. This website has an innocence to it that humans are still capable to help the fellow man, and I like that.

I don't come on here on a regular basis, just a couple times a week. But I agree with you I need to get out more too, I always stay at home.

even though its a bit boring I am strangely drawn to it. Its pretty addicting. I actually get mad when i run out of questions to answer.
