yes mam there are a lot of softwares over internet and u can easily download them and use them
but if u are using microsoft word its damm good and easy to use the speech thing
simply go to
tools>speech there u can configure and use the thing
believe me its damn good and easy to use

"Dragon Naturally Speaking" is software I used last year when I broke my wrist. It is fabulously accurate. The commands are easy and it's simple to get started.
