y=log2x
x-intercept means y=0 (note y-intercept means x=0)
0=log2x
2x=10^0
2x=1
x=1/2
x intercept is (1/2,0)

Is it log(2x) or log(base 2) of x? The x intercept of the log function to any base is always (1,0), since a^0 = 1 for all a<>0, so log (base a) 1 = 0.

10^0 = 2x = 1

x = 0.5
