If nightlife is important then you would enjoy Key West, Florida! Its cranking from morning to night! Lots of shopping and delicious Key Lime Pie and beaches to experience. A little bed and breakfast in town would be romantic and quaint. Gatlinburg, Tn is also a very hot romantic spot. Orlando and Miami also have some terrific nightlife! But if I was going to stay a week anywhere try West Palm Beach Florida.

Wow there are so many choices:
Hawaii is the number one honeymoon destination in America. Not much night life except on Oahu, but there might be just enough on Maui.
NYC can be very romantic and is nice this time of year, it also will give you everything you want. Same goes for San Francisco and there are also some very good side trips from there.
Don't do Orlando, nothing romantic or adult nightlife there. Vegas isn't romantic just cheap, but it is fun.

Savannah, Georgia is full of romantic ambiance of the Old South, not recreated, but carefully preserved from that earlier time. It's a beautiful city rich with history that you will fall in love with the moment you arrive. Savannah’s 24 squares may be public, but they feel private. Their massive, gnarled oaks—dripping with Spanish moss—create an insular mood, not to mention a deep shade. It's easy to forget your in the middle of a bustling city while when your surrounded by massive, gnarled oaks--dripping with Spanish moss-- and fragrant magnolias.
Savannah offers a wide variety of nightlife selection with world renowned restaurants, bars, pubs, theater and festivals. River Street is a hot spot for those seeking good food and fun with a view! Situated along the Savannah River you can party it up, browse the specialty shops or lounge along the river and watch the ship pass by.
Tybee Island is another must visit spot when in Savannah. Everything you'd expect to find on this quaint island is there at Tybee, with the exception of the crowds.
Hope this helps!

I would go to Arches National Park and sit on an arch with Stacey Dash and watch the sun go down and the stars come out. I would do this because it is as beautiful a place as there is on earth, it's warm, and I've got the hots for Stacey Dash.

Personally Id hike the Appalachian Trail but I can sense perhaps that is not quite what you're looking for so something more conventional perhaps? NYC? Las Vegas? Are you allowed to choose Hawaii?
Iv never been to the States at all so any one of them would do it for me!

It depends on what type of vacay you guys are looking for.... (relaxing? adventure?)
Maybe do a San Fransico/ Napa Valley trip?
Or- Maine is GORGEOUS. Lots of outdoors things to do. Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park is amazing.
Or I know it's not the US, but Montreal is terrific as well. There's a blast going there.
