Why are they so....special? Did they do anything except spend their whole life in front of a computer screen?

No, not at all. Yahoo gives the title, no one else.

I would say that with 1154 answers and over 100 questions you have spent a fair amount of time in front of the computer yourself.

No, I don't think I'm "all that and a bag of chips" and I definitely don't spend my life in front of a computer screen. It's called boredom or killing time.

I honestly don't see the real point in having top contributors.

Most of them have been coming here for several months. and they didn't label themselves that way. Yahoo did. Some like the rather silly label, but when it comes down to it, I mean, who really cares.
I mean we come here and we ask questions, and we answer questions and we get mad and we laugh and we sometimes get frustrated when someone can't spell, or when someone does not agree with our way of thinking..........
and sometimes the people who are in charge of things, meaning Yahoo..well, they just sit around a big ole conference table and think of ways to make PC nuts feel good about themselves...pretty soon they will think of something else, like perhaps giving POINTS For a questioner whose question garners the most answers or some --------- like that. Or maybe they'll start giving 15 points for a Best Answer, or 4 points for a Worse answer. I mean people - usually called 'consultants' are paid BIG bucks to think of things that will keep you coming back.....and obviously, when a person has 10,000 or more friggen points!! well SOMEthing is making them come back.....
day after day after day...........
==========================
see the next answerer...? I mean he is actually "envious" of Top --(whatever they are)...which I mean, come on. Life is short. What do we want as our legacy? That we spent 18 hours a day answering questions,? or asking them?

some of which we asked last week and can 't even remember them?

Spelled backwards they are "Srotubirtnoc Pot". This is an Indonesian cannibis. Those people are really stoned on the computer. They need a bag of chips.

I don't think I'm all that and I don't spend all my life in front of a computer, if I did that it would be a reflection of my school grades which are up to par by the way

You sound jealous or something

Doubtful that they get an ego about it...but I'd agree that they probobly spend a great deal of time in front of a computer screen. No worries, everyone has to be a winner some times :).

Blessings!

The TC distinction is awarded by the YA algorithm that identifies people who do not think beyond 3 categories. For some reason, this is a badge of honor. Go figure.

haha, never thought about that. but they might not necessarily have spent a lot of time in front of the computer, maybe they were just members for a long time.

I was one for a day and a bit.. It's like putting the needle of a syringe in a heroin addicts arm, and then pulling it out without injecting and going "HA! HA!"

I answer my @ss off & don't get sh*t, so screw them.
