Should I put ice on it. It is sorta small but I am going to get my hair cut tomorrow and it will be easter and I dont want anyone to see. It happened earlier taday and I want the swelling to go away. What should I do?

Yes. You should have put ice on it right after it happened and it wouldn't have gotten so swollen.

But still do it now. Take a zip lock bag and fill it with ice, wrap a hand towel around it (never apply ice directly to your body. You'll damage the skin) and keep the ice on for 20 minutes, off for 30, back on for 20 and so on.

You can even use a bag of frozen peas or corn in place of the bag of ice. Still use the towel.

Put ice on it. It should take it down. Also if you have a small toothbrush you could kind of brush it, it moves the blood and it should remove the swelling.

Alternate between heat and cold.

If you have a bag of unopened frozen peas, wrap it in a tea towel, and place it on the knot.

Ya but don't keep it there without a towel to prevent an
unwanted headache.Maybe ten minutes an hour. That
should help decrease swelling.Watch out where you put your coconut.

use an ice pac wrapped up in a towel thats about all you can do hope it works for you.
