First of all English is already the official language of the USA. All we want is for you to follow the existing laws. Why should the people of the USA support you coming across the border illegally so you can steal a free education, bring your pregnant women here so when their kid is born here it automatically becomes a citizen. Why should we condone you jumping the line in front of other people trying to live by the law. Why should we put up with you when you don't want to speak our official language and demand that we include Spanish for illegal people. There are a lot of other people, French, Germans, Africans, and many others trying to better their lives too, but you demand that you are something special. I wouldn't call that friendly at all, I would call that very dishonest, unlawful, and deceitful.
It isn't that we don't think that you deserve a chance, but we think that law abiding people deserve a chance before you.

Woah. We're not stereotyping at all, are we? [/sarcasm]
I had a debate with one of my parents of the deportation thing against it. I don't see anything wrong with people trying to get a better life for themselves or their family. Isn't that why white people came here?
I have a good Mexican friend, but he took the time to learn English, and he doesn't even live in the US. I'd wager to say that over half of my classmates are studying Spanish right now. I doubt any of them have the intention of going to live in a Hispanic nation.
English-speaking people settled the US, so why should English not be the official language? If a better life is wanted, then an effort to learn the language should be expected, no?
...and, eh, what does America being two continents have to with anything?

In North America the official language IS English, and its hard to do business when you have to deal with people that only speak spanish. So then you have to pay for a translator. It would just be easier if some of the people learned at least a little bit of English.

While your initial claim is wrong, your "argument" contradicts itself. One sentence at a time:
"Whats up with these mass desportation and trying to make english the official language." That would be making English the official language of the United States of America, and mass deportations from the United States of America those people in the United States of America without permission.
"For your information america is actually two continents north america and south america." No one argues that. Okay, so there are 2 continents that share the word "America" in their names. So what?
"We just friendly people trying to obtain a better life for ourselves and family." No, you are not "just" trying to obtain a better anything if you are breaking the law to do it. Then you are BOTH trying to obtain a better life AND being a criminal. Some (not all, some) people's point is that the criminal should be punished and then kicked out.
Work on your syllogisms.

I'm sorry that you feel this way, but I have nothing but respect for Hispanics and their culture. I love their language, it is so beautiful, and the Mexican life is so simple compared to all the CRAP that Americans need to collect.
As to the Hispanics in America, I have a lot of respect here too and believe that Spanish SHOULD be required as a second language. I know that I will be getting my daughter classes and tapes so that she speaks it as well as I, preferably better.
I'm sorry that you feel this way. I hope that your opinion of everyone isn't effected by a few stupid people.
Blessings to you and yours and have a wonderful weekend!

You are certainly correct about this being only one continent. We are in North America which we share with Canada. On the other hand, there is South America. You are just as American, if not moreso than people in the United States.
Ever notice that when people in the United States want to appear larger than they really are, they call themselves "Americans"? and yet when they giggle amongst themselves they say "oh I'm from the United States"....you know, that little country that could fit inside Russia or South America or Africa for that matter."
and don't feel bad. Foolish white people are afraid of anyone who doesn't look like them. They have yet to realize and accept that the world is 97 percent people of color.
No one -- absolutely no one is more "illegal" than the white man in the United States..
you see they have this twisted philosophy.....
They equate "accomplishment" with what they do best.
Thievery.

i do no longer hate Hispanics, yet as quickly as I observed those punks in my community, they had be praying the law enforcement officers could come and take them away earlier I have been given complete with them, yet in spite of this, they does no longer have adequate time to wish - bullets flow too rapid. i'm hoping the immigrant does get deported alongside with all of the illegals - enable the drug sellers preserve them as a replace of the regulation abiding voters.

I don't. I love Latin Americans esp. Mexicans. However, I want English as our offical language. Every nation in Latin America (save Brazil) has Spanish as their offical language and for some reason, that isn't called racist. Besides; if you are coming to the US or Canada for better opportunities, then you better learn English unless you want to wash dishes or cut lawns for a living.
And what makes you think that black people like you?

Lets see when I go to another country I have to learn their language. If I want to live in Mexico what are the laws for me to have to live there? My great grandfather came to this country he had to learn to speak English, he worked very hard, and did not get any help from the government. Why should my kids have to learn Spanish when we live in the USA, that makes it harder on them, the schools have to use the money they have on Spanish speaking teachers and then my kids don't get the education they should be getting. My great Grandfather did not ask for anything he came here worked hard, sent his kids to school to learn English did not expect them to teach German. Why should we all have to be punished because you want a better life, so do I but I don't expect the Country I live in to change for me. If you want to live in the USA and have a better life why don't people come here, work hard and live the way it is. If you want to change the USA why don't you go back home. The USA is a great place to live, enjoy it but don't try to change it, we are great because of the way we have been doing things. English is our language we love our country the way it is, if I did not like it I would move to Mexico our to Germany or someplace else. If you don't like it the way it is go Home and improve your country we have faught long and hard to get our country the way it is. It might have its flaws but all in all people want to be here, it must be because we are doing something right. If this hurts your feelings I am sorry, I don't hate, but I am tired of people coming to our country and trying to change it, but not improve it. In God I Trust
