Does anyone feel that there are/is certain Disney songs that really fit into your life? Like the song "Two Worlds" from Tarzan really fits part of my life. "Two worlds one family." My dad's family is all rodeo, western something I'll never be.
Then there's Disney's Beauty and The Beast. The song really described what has happened between me and this guy over the course of two years time. Have you ever fealt like a certain Disney song really describes your life or you or an experience you've had?

Why does it fit into your life too? I really think Reflection fits me too. i'm sort-of the odd family member out of the bunch, so I feel that way a lot as Mulan does in Reflection.

I have a few..........! BUT I won't list them all!

1-"When You Wish Upon A Star"- This sonng is basically my "banner" of what I am. It says that "when you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are," I wish the world would think more like that. Too many people think that because of who they are, that wishes are a waste of time and that it'll never com true. But with me, I dream and wish, and I couldn't be happier than where I'm at now because of all of my dreaming.

2-"Give A Little Whistle"- I've been through my fair share of rough times, and it seemed like only a small whistle, and I was encircled by those who wish to help me through all trouble.

3-"Age of Not Believing" from Bedknobs and Broomsticks- Let me set this down- I'm a huge Disney fan. I'm someone who looks to a star and makes a wish, one who believse that I can do anything if my mind is set. However, the rest of the world isn't like me. Even my best friends stop believing in themselves or in their hopes and desires, our as this song puts it- the age of not believing.

4-""What's This?" from the Nightmare Before Christmas- I'm an incredibly curious person, so what better song to show it than the song Jack sings to when his curiousity leads him to a new world?

5-"The Second Star to the Right" from Peter Pan- Just another wonderful song about the ideas I embody: dreaming, wishing, hoping, and leaving worldy cares behind for a moment of imaginative tranquility!

6-"The Unbirthday Song(the Mad Tea Party)" from Alice in Wonderland- Well I bet you're thinking "how can that song have metaphorical significance in someone's life?" Well it isn't a metaphor or anything... BUT TODAY IS MY UNBIRTHDAY!! (Sorry, I had to have at least one silly one thrown in there...)

In case you'd like to hear more of my Disney-life songs, my favorite Disney songs/movies, or ANYTHING DISNEY for that matter, don't hesitate to contact me via email. I'm always game for meaningful DISNEY conversation.

From one Disney fan to another...

I think the song from Peter Pan, entitled "You Can Fly" has significance in my life. It is about having faith and trust in someone or something. I have a life filled with trust and faith.

From Cinderella, "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes," also applies to my life, I think. I like to dream of possibilities and hoped for friendships with others. I also sometimes long to see past friends. Anyway, its a nice song.

"Colors of the Wind," from Pocahontas is also a song that fits my life. I, like Pocahontas, like to spent time out of doors in the wilds of my home state. I wish we all would be better stewards of our home, Earth.

Finally, and I promise this is the last one, again from Pocahontas, is the song, "If I Never Knew You." Life would be so much different if we never had the chance and opportunity to meet the people that we do in life. It is a blessing to know that people I have known. :) I think that made sense...

"Part of This World" The Little Mermaid has always been a song that I relate to. I have never felt like I belong. That song really explains me.

Definently, alot of them do. A couple from Mulan do, and even movies I don't really like, like High School Musical, I can connect to.

i'm a fan of "this is the life" from hannah montana...."....this is the life, hold on tight, this is the dream, it's all you need..." pretty powerful lyrics...cheesy song? yes...but that is more poignant than alot of lyrics out there right now!
