I founds angels to be much easier to breed and raise than kissing gourami. Angel fry are larger and don't require the very small foods kissing gourami fry need.

Sexing angels isn't easy to say the least and sexing young angels is basically impossible. That's why people will tell you it's best to buy 6 and allow them to grow up together and pair off into pair on their own. Here's a short article on breeding angels that has a lot of important info.

Sexing kissing Gourami is impossible. There are no visible differences between males and females, so the same thing applies to them as to angels. Buy 6 young one's and allow them to grow up together and pair off. That's easier to do with angels, you can use a 55 gallon tank to get them to breeding size. For kissing gourami I wouldn't recommend anything less that a 70. Heres a link about kissing gourami that includes some breeding information.

Hope that helps!

Angelfish lay around 300-450 eggs while kissing gouramis lay about 500-600 eggs. Angelfish are substrate spawners and do fan their eggs and this care may extend a bit after the fry have hatched. Kissing gouramis extrude eggs like the bubble nest builder except that they do not make any bubble nest. They are know to ignore the eggs and often eat them. In my opinion angelfish are easy to breed and if you raised the eggs without the parents, the parents spawn often every 2-3 weeks.

never counted babies however each have quite a few. gouamis are more of a bulbous shape thicker in body even as fry. they both breed well on their own no problems but if you think one is pregnant separate then you don't need to wonder which is which. that's the easier way to tell them apart until they get bigger. also this prevents other fish eating before you discover they are here.

Rainbow gudgeons are attractive wonderful non violent fish that may not eat their eggs and that i've got raised rather numerous youthful in a nicely planted aquarium. i don't understand in the event that they ate a number of them or no longer however there have been lots left over. The bumblebee goby is easy and relaxing to reproduce yet it needs no longer common somewhat brackish water. Bettas. that's too undesirable you're no longer interested in cichlids because of the fact there are a number of species that lay eggs and carry their youthful with out eating them. There are even a number of species the place the older era of brothers and sisters help advance the greater youthful.
