Just curious.

Americans love the Brits! Except Britains hard left - BBC brainwashed idiots.

America supported you guys!

We sent in a third Aircraft Carrier Battle Group and we released an Iranian terrorist ( the day before the iraninans released your hostages) to make sure your soldiers were released.......... America laid down its pride and policy for the Brits... As you guys have laid down MANY of your lives for US!!

Intelligent Britons~!!!!!!! AMERICA IS YOUR ally - AND YOU ARE OURS!! - LETS ACT LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our allies and friends across the water are by far the most supportive and helpful to us Brit's than those idiots within Europe will ever be, in particular, we asked our so-called "friends" in the EU for help with Iraq and they refused to send troops or any other aid.
The whole European thing is a complete waste of time as most of the countries are cowards and if something does not affect them directly they are not interested whereas,America will always stand by us and I for one am happy they are with us and stuff the whole European Union and lets work with America to help make the world a more stable and safer place to live in.

There is absolutely no contest, the USA, of course. I have no time for that alien left wing totalitarian state, the EU. I am staggared that any true Brit has. Then again, I have the advantage of not being brainwashed by left wing teachers/ lecturers, and the biased TV media, particularly the BBC. So, I agree with you, and it is a matter of intelligence, but just wait for the anti brigade.

We don't have to choose though. The EU is the most powerful trading block in the world, we are all friends together, although as somebody said before, supporting the IRA (an organisation against British sovereignty) was not very nice and not something we would expect a friend to do.I would personally like to remain friends with the US but I don't think we should be prepared to go into war with them, we should enjoy beneficial trade deals as you should with us but I think thats it. And I know the US helped in WW2 but that was over 60 years ago, so I say lets all be friends but for us, no more making war with America.

Hi as a Brit i find this question a little condescending, why should i choose, On the one hand the US are without doubt the only "super power"left in the world, it is common knowledge that you have the resources to fight 3 wars at the same time - i respect you as an ally but don't boast about it. However the EU is just as important economically and financially. We need you BOTH, I'm just glad you are all on our side

defiantly the USA. lets hope some of those Brits who love the EU remember that when we have no parliament or queen or say and are ruled by one president in the united states of Europe, good luck with that dictator il be long gone thankfully to the good old USA, and hey good luck when they set the interest rate for everyone in Europe regardless of their economy 9 times out of 10 it will be the wrong rate for the uk and we will get the same problem as we had in the 90s dont think it will happen? dont kid yourself

Personally I question how close a friend I want a country which seems to go to war at the drop of a hat and votes in a complete Noddy as president....however thinking what we've voted in for the past ten years maybe we don't have much room to talk!
Why should we have to choose? I do have a prejudice against USA..however it's based on the wasted potential of one of the most powerful countries in the world, a country with so much potential...and yet seems suicidal...and we're following you!
EC has it's limitations, problems an short comings, but maybe I don't expect quite as much from it so i'm never as disapointed in it.

Forget Foreign policy
Forget Political Correctness
Forget International Law
What The UK, The USA & The EU have in common is language.
With that we go forward.
These wars are about someones inabillity to reason.
With the English Language you can reason in so many ways (which one did you want by the way) that if youre not prepared to let reason reason then you might as well go back to picking people out of the playground who you think will stand a better chance of survival.

Are maximum Brirish human beings happy with being an best pal of the U. S.? Proud is an extraordinary be conscious determination there. Why could they be happy with a political status. So i could wager no longer proud. likely merely resigned that our fates seem intertwined for greater efficient or worse.

We are being brainwashed into becoming the 51st. Even the BBC now speak American not English.

I like Americans but I do not like being Americanized.

I am a European

And as for the BBC being hard left - only a Mail or Express right wing dogmatiezed devotee would say that.
