I am looking for a store that sells fashionable clothes in XL or 1X.?

When I go shopping for clothes, I can't fing anything cool or fashionable in my size. Everything in XL or 1X looks like something my grandmother would wear. Does anyone know of a great store to buy clothes that are IN STYLE?

Chico's is, like, really good for this type of thing. They aren't a store for "fat women" and they aren't dowdy like Avenue and Lane Bryant-- their sizes 0 to 3 are about a size 8 or 10 to a 1X or maybe some of the size 3's might fit some people who are a 2X. They have cute clothes in pretty fabrics. They're cut for pretty women who are not 16 and don't have that itty bitty teenager's waist and rib cage. For example, I am nearly six feet tall and when I reached 40 I did put on a little bit of weight, unfortunately, around the middle. Lots of size XL's and 1X's just look weird on me like they are cut for a different body shape. I now have about a zillion low-cut black t-shirts from Chico's that I feel like a cute girl in.

Old Navy and Maurices have trendy clothes in larger styles. I have a friend that had the same problem and she LOVES Maurices... it has a little bit of everything.

Avoid stores like Hollister and Abercrombie... they will depress anyone that isn't a size 0. haa haa.

Also, American Eagle online has larger sizes if you want "name brand."

The best shops to go to are New Look, Urban Outfitters, H&M, Zara, Mango and places like that. Hope this helps :) x

im pretty sure that a lot of popular stores (like american eagle) have those sizes online. u just have to order them online.
