Ive been browsing some questions about how to get the sootopolis thing open, and a lot of times people say u have to free kyogre in a cavern?Ive been swimming around diving like crazy and cant find it. Can anyone tell me were I can free it so I can finally go beet the 8th gym guy!!! PLEASE?? thanx =]

I have sapphire, I am not sure it is the same but I swam around the big mountain (where sootopolis should be) in the ocean and dived there. If you look around undersea you WILL find a little cave then you go up to the surface in there. From there you find the cave where Kyogre is at (there should be people around it) and go inside and battle Kyogre (be prepared some are hard and some are easy to catch). Good luck!

Er, if you are actually playing Emerald, I think that you have to find Rayquaza to open Sootopolis. He is on a tower east of Pacifidlog (good luck climbing. It's going to be a pain in your back parts, but at least you won't have to fight Rayquaza right now.)
Now for Kyogre, in Emerald you can only get it after the League, and the location is random. Just go to the Weather Center (the one near Fortree) and one of the guys there will tell you that it's raining a lot on a certain route; that's the place you want to find. On the route, look for a diving spot that's "misplaced" and you'll find the cave with Kyogre inside.

first you have 2 see the team magma leader take the submarine from the researchers. then you dive under water near route 129 and find the submarine. then rise and you will be in a cavern. go through the cavern and fight the team magma leader. then you will have 2 go 2 awaken rayquaza and he will stop groudon and kyogre from fighting

Check the sites listed in my sources. Some of the better cheats for that game can only be accessed using an Action Replay or Gameshark.

You have to talk to the guy in the weather institute, (next to Fortree City), and he'll tell you what route to find him on.

if u mean how u capture it u have to beat elite four then go to weather institute(wer u got castform)hell tell u wat route to go to then dive (if its not the answer ur lookin for im because i passed whole game)
