Not regular paint, look for a paint specifically for plastics.

I have been painting the interior of my Ranger, I'm doing a complet custom redo, but completly from other Ford products, making it look stock. While keep the customed look but keeping it look stock, I've had to rip parts out of mulitpul vehicles. They are all different colours. I picked up Duplicolor's Vynal and fabric paint, I've done the door pannles, and some of the dashboard, it has a real clean look to it, and its seems like its a thinner paint, so all the little "crackle" patturn in the plastic, it fills in and you still keep that, it looks like it came from the factory that way. I've been happy with duplicolor, but i've heard Krylon is good too.

Only paint that's made for plastic, regular paint will chip/peel off.

i would use a plastic paint but i would do some prep work, for example you need to rub it down with alcohol , rubbing it with alcohol opens the pores of the plastic and it seems to stick better
