Half pound before it was cooked,
About 15 slices.
I even salt my bacon.

Well, if a half-pound is all ya got, I guess it will have to do.

Try salting up a full pound, then ya at least got a good start.

Half pound of uncooked bacon is a bit much. Bacon is loaded with cholesterol, fat, sodium, all kind of stuff that's bad for you. I guess that's what makes it taste so yummy. LOL

Try to limit yourself to 3-4 slices a day. You can do it...

And stop salting it!

Before it was cooked??? Gross.

*shakes Magic 8 ball*..."All signs point to 'YES'"

*edit...ok, realizing you probably meant that before you cooked it, it weighed half a pound. Sorry! Still doubt it's all that healthy though. Plus bacon is pretty salty without the added salt.

I bet that we can hear you breath from about a mile away. You might as well eat 6 eggs and 8 pcs. of toast with a pound of butter and 32 oz. of orange juice. Plus we will give you an extra 1 hour in the bathroom to process your meal.

3 pounds per week is a little too much especially at your weight. But it's not excessive. Between 1 and 2 pounds per week is adequate. But if you're not feeling weak or faint I suppose it's working for you. Remember muscle weighs much more than fat, so restricting calories too much could be causing you to lose muscle mass too. You're not too bad I suppose but 1-2 pounds per week is fine.

I don't know, but I would say, like any food, if you eat it like everyday nothing can be healthy. But I mean I can eat a 1/2 pound, to a pound 1 a week or month. But I don't know a factual answer. BACON ROCKS THO!!!

I wouldn't eat it before it was cooked but afterwards I sure would and I do not salt my bacon. Your blood pressure must be through the roof.

lol well..according to the atkins diet, you can eat all of the fat you want and no carbs (which makes no sense b/c you are clogging your arteries). But i would say yes, it is. Eat a half a pound of turkey bacon (even tho that **** is gross) but hey if you dont care..eat away. You only live once.

kinda weird that you salt your bacon but I don't think it's bad. Might lead to high cholesterol but hey you only live once...though probably not as long if that's a normal eating habit.
