Sounds like a migraine. You can try this, hope it helps.
Lay down in a dark room and cover your eyes with a cloth or something to block all light out. Do relaxed breathing by breathing deep and exhaling slowly. Try to concentrate on the breathing until you feel your body relaxing. Another option is to take a warm bath and add pure lavendar oil. Not lavendar scented products but the pure oil. You can buy it at a pharmacy. I know you cant take other medications being pregnant so good luck with the home remedies. And Congrats on the baby.

If you are having a headache this intense I think you should call your doctor or midwife as soon as possible.
It might signal a problem.
Many women get headaches in early pregnancy but you should have gotten some relief from the Tylenol.
I'm so sorry you're feeling bad! In the meantime, try soaking in a hot bath with some essential oils. Put a drop of lavendar oil on your pillow.

Welcome to the wonderful world of being pregnant. I'm 4 months along and get severe headaches at least 3-4 times a week.. It's totatlly normal. My doctor told me to reduce my salt intake and not to eat alot of chicken. There's something in it that triggers headaches and migranes. Also stay away from foods and smells that make you nauses and cool washclothes over your eyes. Of course taking tylenol as recommended is okay. If everything possible doesn't help talk to your doctor about other forms of medication or relief. Try to stay away from hot baths and showers ( as relaxing as this may sound ). It could raise your body temp. and possibly hurt your baby. Good luck and congrats on being pregnant. If i can help you anymore just email me.

I got chills reading what you wrote, don't sleep with the tv on anymore. Get a nightlight or black light. I am pretty sure you know that you can know who and what and why that activity was doing that to you. You are under stress because of what happened a couple weeks ago, why didn't your husband wake up??? What the hell!!!! Go to the store when you can and buy a birdie caller....i think thats what its called. When you press the button, the device plays this loud beeping sound...if it happens again at least your husband will wake up. Don't let fear take over your body because one you do then you have already lost the war. Be strong and remember they are more afraid of you them you are of them. HIH:)

If it's that bad, it could be a migraine, and may have been brought on by your severe hormone changes. If I'm not mistaken, there are medications for migraines that are now available by prescription, and safe for use during pregnancy. The added stress and pain of the headache aren't good for you or your baby. Go see your doc right away.

I have severe headaches everyday until 16 wks along. I never took any meds for them, jus tried to drink alot of water and get rest, naps help! Taking warm baths helped relax me enough for them to go away for awhile. Hopefully yours will stop like mine did.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

Ice packs - one on the forehead one on the back of the skull where it meets the neck or an ice pack on the forehead/top of skull and a hot pack on your neck.
Get someone to give you a neck rub.
IF your headache is unbearable, or lasts longer than 24 hours get your blood pressure checked ASAP.
