What the heck? Admitt you were in their waters, apolgize, thats all it takes. Now that you have been generously freed, you lie about your story? Iran isn't starting propaganda, Britain is!!!! Anyone agree, disgree, or have somthing to say?

Disagree with your statement that they were in Iranian waters, proof has not been put forward. This was a situation that Iran jumped on and used to there own ends.
Unless you have experienced a situation anything like this you have no idea what pressure these guys were under. As for the fact that they were smiling, this proves nothing other than they were happy to be back in there own company and that they were not going to antagonise the situation further with there captors.
Just try to imagine not knowing if you were going to live or die, bet you can`t.
It`s because of Servicemen & Women like these that you have an opinion, otherwise you might just be speaking German now.
What I don`t agree with is the selling of the story... Wait until your out please, if you have to.

I salute the British! How do you know that the British were or were not in Iranian waters? What are you sources? The Brits did what they had to do to get out without being killed. It is amazing what one will do to save their own life, martyrs excepted. All countries have and use their propaganda machines. The American people see biased news reports and government propaganda daily. Where is the British naval vessel that was involved, as it was never mentioned?

Yes, the great nation of Iran. . . which is honest and open about wanting to generate nuclear power "for peaceful purposes"... even though they have enough oil reserves to last for a zillion years, tells you that the British sailors were in Iranian waters.
I'll admit it's possible. I wasn't there. I don't have the coordinates. Hell, I don't even know if Britain and Iran are using the same map.
I'll concede that I can't say with 100% certainty that the British were not in Iranian waters, but you cannot with 100% certainty say that they were. I can also say with 100% certainty that it is wrong to parade captured soldiers in front of a camera for political purposes.

During War, BOTH sides have propaganda coming out of thier mouths in every word they say - that's the very nature of the vocal war between 2 sides.
Be very careful in future exactly how you frame your question mate.. as it happens, luck is on your side because unlike the Americans, the British have not yet become a litigious country otherwise I wouldn't like to be in your sandals right now !!

because that is what they do best. I f you ask the British how many times they have attacked the USA they will say never. But the truth is 2 times the revolutionary war we said enough is enough and said we are not part of you any more so they set troops over, and we handed them their *** and again in the war of 1812, which they started on 9-11-1812 bet most of you did not know that we kicked them out again. hell they now cant win a war with out our help. Iran has a history of taking hostages, treating them harshly, and forcing them (often at gunpoint) to say things that go against the hostages' government.
You must be a very young person to not know this.
