I also had unprotected sex on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th of April. Does that increase my chances?

If you know for sure that's when you ovulated you did great for April! All you have to do now is wait and see if it took.

It is true that if you made contact on the day that you ovulate then you would get pregnant however Im sorry to say that you diminished your chances by having contact on the 2nd, 3rd and more so the 5th. Im sure you havent asked the opinion of an expert regarding this.
You must not have contact on 3-4 straight days if you want to get pregnant because the the number of sperms relesed per ejaculation decreases by frequency.
You know what is the reason why we ask male patients for sperm analysis to abstain from sex for 3 days? It is because we want to see how many good sperms he produce per ejaculate.
Sad to say that the best sperms were released on the 2nd which will actually stay for 72 hours so you dont need to have contact on the 3rd (it shld be a rest day fo r the male) then repeat contact on the 4th and rest on the 5th. The only hope you can hold on to is that you made contact on the 2nd. because some get pregnant on day 12 of their cycle and not on day 14.
Its better if you are guided by an expert, ovulation calendar is only a guide there are lots to consider.

A healthy female in her 20's has about a 25% chance of falling pregnant each month. So it is possible. You are better having sex every second day to increase the quality and quanitity of the sperm. All you have to do now is wait. Good luck with it all

yes, but you have a better chance of getting pregnant by having sex the two days prior so the sperm's already in the reproductive tract. a lot of times when you have sex on ovulation day, it's not enough time for the sperm to get to where they need to be, the egg dies within 24 hrs after being released

Even when you have sex on your ovulation day you have a 20-25% chance of becoming pregnant each month. I know i had sex plenty of times on that day but did not get pregnant.

yes. but u cant go by a calender. Do u have any symptoms of ovulation? cramps, cm, elivated temp. If u did then yes. Some people ovulate early on time or late.

It's highly possible to get pregnant on a day other than the day you ovulate because sperm can survive inside of you for days.
