There are issues that could be wrong but many are not.
Most conservatives follow a strict set of morals.
A DIFFERENT set of morals than do libs.
We more often follow the foundational Biblical morals.
Libs tend to follow a different set, the secular humanistic set.
VERY different morals.
Look at just these two issues...
Abortion and homosexual marriage.
True conservatives will be against both.
True liberals will be for both.

The Bible says both are wrong and a sin.
Secular Humanism says both are fine because we are infinitely important and deserve anything we want.

well, i have that courage. i used to be pro-death penalty, but after talking to a person who was against it, i am against it too. however, many liberals are the same as you describe conservatives. take abortion for example. im not talking about cases of rape or life or death situations for the mother. how much about the abortion debate do news channels discuss? roe v. wade and thats about it. no statistics, no pictures, no videos, no scientific testimonies. if they did show that, most Americans would be against abortion.

All people have a degree of self righteousness about them...because in a lot of cases we measure others by our own values. Its natural...but we should always remember politics would be boring if we all agreed.

Depends on the type. I work for a Republican. He is a gracious man of high moral caliber. I've seen him say he was wrong.
He's just not typical of Limbaugh/Hannity fans. He has money, morals, no racism and some brains.
