JT B had the right idea with the spark plug wire replacement but to get the best results use Ford motor company replacement wires from the dealer. My brother was also a ford dealer mechanic and said he never got a set of plug wires that were not ford made to stand up to the environment under the hood they would start to break down after a short period. They will be more expensive but they are worth it in the long run

open the distributor cap, turn ignition on with key to start and have a helper see if the rotor is spinning IF NOT replace the small pinion gear.
sometimes the little gear wears out

You will want to check the control module. That is the most likely problem. Good luck.

take the ignition module off and most parts stores can check it for you. It would be the most likely cause for no spark.

The electonic module in the distributor causes that problem.

Ignition pick-up can do that.
Check for power to the coil first.
