No, I think she has effectively destroyed the State Department.
Think on this:
If a Democrat is elected President, and you have a Republican Speaker. The President offers a country some "trade deal [via the state department]. The Speaker tells the same country, "well, if you do this INSTEAD, we'll see that it gets through the Congress".
Do you see the problem now?
There is a reason the State Department handles negotiations.

She proved how wrong the 2006 election was. Pelosi could not take a message from Israel to Syria without fouling up. Her failure to lead the hose forward, coupled with Reid's jabbering about life prove liberals are incapable of good leadership. Both Pelosi and Reid love to get media attention and like Murtha they will embarrass the country to get a mike in front of them. Hopefully the next election will get rid of them and let the next generation of leadership take over. I wish there were term limits for both the house and senate.
