Ok I bought a phone in France, with SFR. Everything was cool, but now I am in Barcelona, Spain. Once I got off the plane my phone service switched to Vodafone ES. How can my mother reach me? I know the country code is 34. When my mother would call me in Paris she would dial 03311 then my number. What should she dial now?

I think she has to dial the same number she was dialing before but you will have roaming charges applied. It can be expensive.

Take your phone into Vodafone to see if you can buy a prepaid card with a local phone number. Then incoming calls will be free for you (you'd have to let her know what your new phone number is though).

Hope that helps!

You have bought your cellphone in France and i suppose you have a French phonenumber. France has country code 33. as far as i know, all French mobile numbers start with 06, so it would be something like +33 6.... (skip the first 0 in the telephone number).

For example, if your French cellphone number is 0612345678, she should dial +33 6 12345678
