Imagine you've won a lot of money, say enough to never have to worry about money again. You don't have to work but you'd be very bored otherwise. Now what job would you do to fill your time and bring you satisfaction? It needn't necessarily be something that requires money to do.

If i came into a lot of money I'd still be doing exactly what I'm doing. A few years ago i passed up an obscene amount of money to do something I wasn't very keen on. I'm very skint now but there's nothing i regret about passing up that money because I'm following a dream and not a lot of people can say that.

Your purpose here is to feel complete joy and fulfillness! that is why it feels so good, because in that moment you are in allignment with your true self and the universe.

You are supposed to do: anything and everything that makes you feel good and happy. Try to turn a hobby or passion into a carreer and you'll never feel like you're actually working again! If you don't really know what that is, just keep getting different jobs, until you find something you enjoy.

Most importantly, don't do anything because someone tells you its a good job or whatever. do it only if its something you want to do, you and your happiness should be your number one priority in life.

No, it is not clear cut, for a lot of life plan or fate is luck and circumstance. We like to think we can control everything and take charge but really for the majority of us that just is not true if the opportunity does not present. Make rough plans but also allow for change of heart, you can meet someone or gain knowledge that knock all your best laid plans to the kirb, and allow yourself you change your mind without guilt, be free and not a prisoner to your plans

I think that every person should have goals and dreams, but I do not think you should stick to them so closely or have high expectations of them such that you are not open to other opportunities that come your way and that may also be interesting. I believe in preparing for many possibilities and always have two or more things going at once, some things mulling over in your mind, always waiting preparing for the unexpected.

Because we are such complex humans. We tend to try a variety of things. And sometimes you switch in the middle. Bottom line. Do what works.. if it doesn't and your not happy. Figure out something that you like to do and try that.

I've had many hats: door to door sales, secretary, cut cauliflower in the fields, sell baskets, Baby sitter, Contractor relations Manager , Masseuse.. I can continue.. believe me

There are more options for you if you are very intellectual. There are less options for you if you are more talented and less intellectual. I think the latter is the blessing, since you have no choice but to pick that, which is your calliing. If you feel pulled to many choices, pick the choice that you feel will make you the happiest!

I'm 36 and have been in at least 20 directions with my life and am changing again. Variety is the spice of life my dear.

there are so many options, just try out things, and maybe you'll make the wrong choice, but you can always change, just take the path that'd be harder to do when you're older, like college or med school.

You don't. Some people are steered into successful lives by their childhood environment. Those are fortunate but very few.

The rest of us have to figure it all out on our own.

My suggestion is that you ask yourself what you would really like to do if everything paid the same salary.

I say follow your heart, and if you feel good about it, its right for you.Not many can say, well this is what I'am suppose to do because only you no what that is. You have to sometimes fail in order to come out on top. Feeling good about yourself comes first, everything else will fall into place.
