All Democrats are not against all moral values. The party as a whole does defend partial birth abortion. This is the process where they birth the head of the baby, stick an instrument into the base of it's skull and kill it, them deliver the rest of it as normal. There is no reason this chils could not have been pulled out alive, the Mother still births the baby either way. This is just murder, but the babys bodies are now a billion dollar business thanks to people like Chris Reeves wanting them used for stem cell research. He didnt care if a million babies were murdered as long as he could be cured, God bless his mis-guided soul.
They also as a party, believe it is proper for a man to marry a man. Republicans just do not see it that way, as a whole. There are members of the party that agree with that position, but they are less than 1%.
There are other issues as well but I believe these are the main ones that come to people's minds when the subject of morals comes up.
You just have to ask yourself, , What would Jesus do ?. ...I don't think there is any doubt.

I am a Democrat and I have Morals better than say, Mark Foley a Republican.
You see the difference is Democrats want to govern with the Constitution, while all the right wing Conservatives would like for us to be governed by their Morals.
That's what they do in Iran, Pakistan, Somalia, etc.
Go live there if you are not happy with the two party democracy.
If you don't understand the procress that is one thing, but if you do and just hate Democrats, I feel sorry for you. For we are on the same team, we are all Americans, with the right to different opinions and morals. I am a Veteran, you know the guys and girls who are sacrificing their lives so you can have your opinions.

They are against making laws to force people to accept other peoples morals. Look, everyone can agree that you just can't shoot your neighboor because they borrowed a power tool and haven't given it back. But the rest of the moral issues are subject to interpretation. Good morals are taught in church, from parents, and community. The government has no right to make laws to enforce such morals. Last time I checked this was still America, home of the FREE. If someone I know is cheating on their husband, I believe it is wrong, but I cant see her going to jail for it. Democrats believe this is still a free country. "I might not like what you have to say, but I'll defend your right to say it". You make not like what you see as "immoral" but sometimes you just have to let it go. We all have to face the Almighty one day, and He can decide the truth. It is not our place to pass judgement on others morality. "Judge not lest you be judged." Sound familiar? I thought so :)

YOU CAN'T LEGISLATE YOUR OWN MORALITY!

I'm not sure that democrats are agains morals...In fact, your question is just down-right stupid. I think what you meant was:

Why don't democrats share the same morals as republicans?

The answer is simple...because they are democrats. They have different morals, values, and political ideas just as republicans, socialists, libertarians, green party, nazi party...you name it. And thats why we have different political parties, because we all have different opinions. Why is that? Well, because we are all different people. No two people are the same. Another good question would be, "Why do some groups of people look down so much at others for what they believe in?"

I suggest you take a course in human relations.

The United states is a representative democratic republic not a true democracy. This is why we had a strong moral tradition.

The Democrats were taken over by dope smoking hippie commies who tried to force promiscuity on our culture but first they had to try to eliminate unwanted pregnancy. To do this they had to promote abortion on demand. Every other corrupt immoral policy since was a result of that.

Morals come from a religious source. We Democrats don't want our politics and religion mixed. Morals are great, but not necessary in a politician. What we are all for is ethics, which has no religios overtones, but civil basis.

Because morals imply that somehow something can be considered "wrong" and another thing could be considered "right". Judging things in this way is a very negative (note I didn't say "wrong") attitude. Besides, us poor, stupid people can't figure out things like right and wrong for ourselves. We need the government to do that for us. Just like everything else!!

What kind of morals are we talking about?
Lying to the country about reasons to go to war? Nope, that was Bush.
Cheating on your spouse and leaving them? Nope, that is Giuliani, McCain and Gingrich.
Flip-flopping on abortion and gay rights? Nope that is Giuliani, McCain and Romney.

Because morals get in the way of good judgement.

When you have an agenda - you don't need 'em!
