Rule of thumb in foreign affairs is always talk, reason, and negotiate from a standpoint of strength. I believe the Iran-British crisis played that out very well. Iran knew it was flirting with disaster had they not released the Brits.

Pelosi decided on her own that she knows better. Why she thinks that is only known to her. By her meeting with the Syrians undermines the current administrations stance.

Nancy Pelosi has her head in the sand and by doing what she did is tantamount to treason. My opinion.

Pelosi is showing the world how this country has fallen into a black hole of liberals. Like most liberals She will do anything to get media attention. She does not care about being right just getting her face in the news. Soon she will announce plans for a real run at being president and that will get Hillary and the Clinton gang on her case. Pelosi is hoping to become a black horse candidate after Obama and Hillary carve up the convention.

She's grabbing the limelight, going on a megalomaniacal rage, and we are being pulled apart as a nation by petty bovine manure.

Foreign affairs are within the realm of the Presidency, not Congress. All Congress can do is ratify and confirm treaties and accords.

The point is, Pelosi should not be doing things which conradict official policy, even if she disagrees with that policy.

We have one president. Not two and she was not elected president by her constituency in San Francisco. I didn't vote for her and she does not represent me.

Therefore, she has no business going there. Nor do any senators have any right to go there either.

I don't think she is power hungry at all and as for wanting the limelight, that comes with the territory, it is not her fault. What she has done by visiting some of these countries and been welcomed I might add.. is try to put the U.S. in a little better light. Bush has dragged us down to the point that saying you are American is like swearing. Most counties in the world, even ones who claim they are our friends, really dislike America now.. I give her credit for trying to show that we are not all idiots like this administration, not all wanting war... and that perhaps some of our troubles can be discussed and settled thro dialogue and not bombs.

She is a representative of our country as elected by our governmental system. I will treat her with respect even as I oppose her policies and goals.

That's what is not going on. Many people have no ethics, and treat honesty and integrity as words to use, not things to live by (unless someone is watching). Sedition is normal to them, and they have forgotten how to disagree, dissent, or protest and still put the United States FIRST rather than second to their political party or personal ideology.

Limelight!!! First Lady in the Speakers seat and she needs to prove a point. Right - Wrong - or otherwise, she wants to use all her power and more. Makes her feel like someone.

The division came with the administration. Her Congressional leadership is doing very good things. Do you recall the do-nothing, rubber stamp 109th congress. The 110th Congress is very much a breath of fresh air!

She is trying to make US and Israeli policy as per the Liberal Agenda. Which is to destroy Israel and make the USA a near-Socialist nation.
A Woman on CBN prophesied the USA would be ripped in half by this summer. She did not know if it would be geophysical or Political. I am assuming it will be political. This very well may be the beginning of it.
