What are the major differences between Gemini and Scorpio?

I am a Scorpio and my siblings are Gemini's. What would you say are the major differences between these two signs? I am a Gemini moon; however, I believe I am much different than my siblings and any other Gemini acquaintances I have.

I am a mother of a Scorpio and a Gemini both different sexes and a professional astrologer.
The Mercury that rules the Gemini will be of constant intrigue to the Scorpio. The Scorpio will constantly ask where did this info come from and the Gemini will respond "I don't know, I just knew it" the Scorpio will find the answer. Both are intellectually smart. The Gemini will break the law, the Scorpio will make necessary preparations beforehand.
A Gemini moon will actually enhance romantic your love life.You are more willing to adapt to people than a typical Scorpio. You will be more willing to see people as they can be, rather than being so cynical.
Scorpios are my most favorite sign because they are all challenge and love to remain so. Loyal, dedicated, Loving people and everyone overlooks them as the evil, revengeful type. Sure they are, because they love so much. They hurt more than any other sign. Geminis hurt but bluster it off . Scorpios personality is stable and Geminis can blow it off.
Geminis aren't picky about their friends, because they could care less. (they have a great stability about themselves and can no matter what you do they still come up great)
Scorpios on the other hand, pick and chose their friends very carefully and will exact vengeance on those that have wronged them).
It's the self esteem problem. You cannot wrong a Scorpio, because you will pay for it.
You can wrong a Gemini and he/she won't care because you aren't worth the time.

There'd be many more differences between Scorpio and Gemini than similarities, in fact one would be hard-pressed to find two more different individuals.
Scorpio is moody, secretive, dedicated, passionate, a person to follow what the heart dictates. Gemini is all about the mind, outgoing, eloquent, flighty and changeable. These two signs are as opposite as can be.

Hi To keep it easy.. For each sign, there is an element. Fire Earth Air or Water. One element can smother and rule over another while others combine and some nurture. Hmm, well from my personal experience Geminis can take the blow and move on while Scorpio's sometimes linger in sadness... Gemini's are more open while Scorpio's are more closed, there, that's how I'd say it.

Geminis are an open book basically they will talk talk talk about everything trust me my father is a gemini. They don't mind you asking questions about themselves. They are very inequisitive individuals. They want to exchange knowledge with the person they are talking to. I notice they have an abundance an amount of friends and they hate being alone. Now scorpios are very secretive and don't want you to violate their space. They are sooooooooooooo intense and passionate about everything they do. Very calculating and cunning. Most of the time they are suspicious of everyones motives and are also loners. So there you have it!

hmmm.well gemini's are more outgoing and loud and hard to keep up with (i am a gemini) where my sibiling a scorpio is more organized concerned etc. i take that you get annoyed by the gemini's but you have lots of patience and thats good:].lol.so there are MAJOR diffrences but are good pairs:].
