Should I make baked beans my way?

Question

I simmer onions cut up in butter then I add brown sugar and some BBQ sauce and honey, They are DELICIOUS, ♥

For 1 can baked beans.
1/2 cube butter or substitute
1/2 med. size onion
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup bulls eye BBQ sauce
1/4 cup honey

cut up onion and simmer in butter until soft or clear looking
I use red onion
then add all ingrediants and let simmer for awhile, taste and may add more of anything you like.
You may also add
garlic powder
crispy bacon

Actually, that sounds delish! I love baked beans! Except I'd subsitute margarine because butter is a dairy and I don't consume dairy (it's a vegan thing). I'll give you a star if you post your recipe under additional details?

yes you should, but a little bacon cut up and simmered with the onyons adds a nice flavor too

sounds good to me. lean bacon, red wine and spicy saugage, garlic poweder and ripe tomatoes is yummy too for baked beans.
