Actually, an amazing number of them do agree, but not with Former Vice-President Gore. They agree there may be global warming (not global warning), and that it makes sense since we are on the end of an ice age.
No other explanation is really required (Occam's Razor).
It's like noticing your mail box is battered on the ground and assuming aliens did it due to anger at our President.
It is not the most elegant and direct solution to the question. People with their own agenda to limit man's growth have grabbed onto this (just as they grabbed onto the flare of "global cooling" fears that occured about a decade or so ago) to spread the agenda (agendas aren't bad, don't make it a bad word).
It's unfortunate that they have done so, as it affects our country in negative ways, yet, these same people have, due to their fanaticism, done great good combined with the dampening effect of other opposing groups who disagree (some of them fanatics as well).
That's what free societies are all about. When a crazy idea comes up, there is a force pushing one way. Those who oppose can hear about it quickly enough to push back. I love the United States and free speech (Thank you, Yahoo! for the platform).
Vice-President Gore, like all our elected leaders, is trying to do what he thinks is best for our country. I disagree, but he is deserving of the respect (just like President Bush and any person elected to office) earned for serving our country, even while I disagree, or even protest their goals.
Some people don't get freedom. I hope all of you do.

Gore is really the one agreeing with scientists. Gore has just become the primary spokesman for the movement. And thank god it has become a movement. This is something that scientist have known for years, but conservative media have done a good job of downplaying it.

ABC a liberal slanted news service. The scientists that agree with gore are profiting from their opinions. There are just as many scientists that disagree with gore's bought and paid for scientists. What you said maybe true, but gore says its completely caused by man.

Wait, don't tell me - Gore says he came up with that hypothesis right? What a load. He is just parroting the scientists. Sure it's great that he is using his prominence to help publicize this event, but he certainly didn't bring it to light, we've known this for many years.

Because global warming is FACT. All the scientists agree on that. What they disagree on are the causes.

Only one "scientist" bought and paid for by the oil lobby is the lone dissenter that Global Warming is not occurring.
He's the only guy that allows them to say, "not all scientist agree."

Lots of world scientists don't agree. Believe what you want. You're not gonna make me feel guilty, and I hope to hell you don't raise my taxes over it. Can't you form a church for this (and leave the rest of us alone)?
Oh, ABC news said so? Oh, now I'm convinced!!
Not.
