Yes i definitely believe that sometimes our dreams are like clues or warnings for what is going to happen. I had a personal experience last summer, when a person very close to me passed away and i had dreams about the police coming to my house and telling me that this person was in trouble and also i had a dream about finding someone lying underwater. A week after i had these dreams or rather nightmares, the police came to my house in the middle of the night and told me that my brother drowned.
I think that we always get warning about the future but we just don't pay attention to small detail and then later on we may regret it.

Yes some times, there is an interesting story in Chemistry. Michel Faraday during 1825, invented " Benzene ", , a simple hydrocarbon, he new the formula, but could not able to get its structural formula, how the atoms are bonded. He worked for many weeks. No results.
One day, in his sleep, he dreamt of two snakes , biting each others tails. Their position is hexagonal. Next morning he thought about his dream, tried structural formula in a hexagonal way. He got it right.
This not an isolated case, many people, have found the solutions to their problems, in their dreams.
The explanation is very simple. The people have solutions also in their mind, along with problems. But could not take it out during day time, because of very busy schedule or any other reason. During sleep, it kicks out. As most part of brain go to sleep, some are awake. This subconscious answers, were projected out in form of dreams.

While I'm sure I dream regularly because everyone does, I don't recall many at all.
Those that I do recall seem to be about people in my life or who have been in my life. Sometimes I haven't been in contact with them for years and I will dream about them. This makes me try to contact them again.
It's sort of like a "calling old friends" dream.
When this happens, I not only remember the dream but find myself thinking about the person or people and the fun we had - joys we shared - sorrows we helped each other through...that kind of thing.
Once in a great while I will have a HUGE "Stephen King" type nightmare. Not often, thank goodness, but when it happens it's a doozy. It wakes me up and I find myself heading towards the kitchen for a nice cuppa tea to rewire my brain. This happens maybe once a year or so.
I have friends who say the "answer came to them in a dream" on a regular basis. Makes me jealous! HA!

I recently had a dream about my half brother who I normally don't have a good relationship with and we are both facing our mother's impending death. In the dream he was really kind to me, and we had a really insightful conversation. When I woke up, I thought, what the hell, and I called him, and practically everything that happened in my dream (what we discussed) happened! It was unreal. I've definitely had some hints concerning my subconscious- but unfortunately most of my dreams have little to do with my life- it's more like, something immaterial to what I was thinking about briefly - and it will appear in my dream. I usually don't look forward to solutions to my problems in my dreams- and I don't expect any dreams to provide me with solutions. I let my subconscious go free! But tonight, absolutely, I will concentrate on the problem concerning my elderly parents and what I should do, and see what happens. You've given me something really interesting to think about. Thank you!

I think our emotional world, how we are presently experiencing life, is acted out in our dreams. I think we wrap stories around our feelings. For example, if life feels very disorganized, nothing going right, we may have dreams of trying to organize, but everything keeps falling apart!
It's very clever how we can create characters, complete with costumes, scenery...just like in the movies! I sometimes wonder if we don't do the same thing in this 'waking dream!'
In my own 'dream life', I often have a house that I return to. It seems to be in different stages of repair or disrepair...depending on how my life is going. It has been the same house for many years. It's all very interesting.

Yes they do. Their were a few instances actually. A golfer had trouble with this game so one night he dreamed he was holding his club a different way and the grip worked. SO he tried it and won.
Also the inventor of the sewing machine dreamed that native were throwing spears at her and they ended up sticked right side up in the ground. When he or she woke up he or she found out that the needle must have the string first and point down to the clothes.

All the time, all my life. I am one of a small minority of people who think rather than dream while sleeping. Through self hypnosis, which I learned as a teenager, I can delve into that part of my brain while sleeping that I am unable to use while awake, and not only problem solve but do many other things.

Yes. As an advertising copywriter it helped me many times to come with creative ideas that just popped into my head when I was falling asleep.
But also... dreams clarify my feelings. Sometimes I dream a big wave lifts me and when I wake up I know it means I am not in control of something in my life and that I am feeling tense about it. When I realize it, it just stops bothering me. Isnt that great?

mostly in my dreams im free, and i fly. i really wish life could be like that all the time, just fly away from all your problems. i have not had a dream like this in a long time, i guess it's because im so weighed down by all my worries and stress.
also sometimes i come to realizations like a pro or con of something, but i don't wait for the dreams or even rely on it, it just happens.
