ok. so they finally got an okayish singer. GET OVER IT!!! Its a freakin, tv show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET A LIFE!!!! Its so dumb. People are like, i have vowed never to watch American Idol again! You are a loser if you ever watched it!!!!!

I am a longtime American Idol fan, and I couldn't agree more... well except for the part about being a loser, lol. What people don't understand is that there have ALWAYS been bad singers on American Idol. This is just the first time one has gotten so much media attention. I suppose you can thank Howard Stern for that. Honestly, being a fan of the show, I find Sanjaya very entertaining, and look forward to seeing him perform every week. He may have a terrible voice (and he knows it!) but come on-it's funny. It's a freakin TV show, an it happens to come on right before House. How convenient!

I bet Simon, Paula, and Randy regret telling him that he sounded better than his sister at the auditions. I'm sure things would not have went this far if she was the one that had made it through. I actually feel a little bit sorry for him because he's soaking all this attention up like dry sponge. Then again; I know he watches the playbacks after each show and knows that he can't sing. That he's got to do something to stay in the race, so out come the wild hairdos. And if it weren't for those no one would even remember his name at all. Let's just pray that the ppl that are voting for him every week realize the mistake they are making and vote for the ones that deserve. God forbid he win this whole competition; it would put the honesty of Americans right out the window. So with all that being said; the answer to your question would be YES! Good Luck on him not winning the contest.

ok sick seize oyu up. sanjaya is a horrable singer my *** hollow ought to sing more advantageous perfect then him he's so undesirable. anywaz its going round that the merely reason all and sundry is vote casting 4 him is b/c simon suggested he ought to leve and in no way come decrease back next season if sanjaya gained. i ought to go away to he's so undesirable and he acts so stupid and the unhappy difficulty is he's conscious he sucks yet hes happy that hes famouse b/c of his stupidness. as you are able to tell i hate him more advantageous then you are able to imagine

I agree. I'm forced to watch it because my roommate watches it.

I think that the whole lineup of game shows and reality tv contests simply shows how low the networks have sunk. It's such a monkey-see-monkey-do industry. They'd do well to just throw in the towel and start from scratch. TV used to work because no one knew what the heck they were doing in that industry.

I'd like to return to the 70's and 80's for television.
