Having not upgraded my original Japanese psp-1000 from the original 1.0 firmware, I am now about to upgrade to 3.10 oe.

Before I do, I wondered if anyone could offer any reason why I shouldn't?

Just to be sure!

Thank you!!

You might want to check http://www.pspfanboy.com for info on the 3.30 release from Sony. I think it said something about homebrew PSPs being locked out from further upgrades. But it may depend on if 3.330 oe comes out as a work around.

to no longer point out that 3.00 and above has Sony's PS1 emulator geared up in. yet incredibly of using PS3 to purchase and acquire PS1 video games on your PSP, 3.10 OE-a and 3.03 OE-c enable you to run PS1 disk image on PSP. I additionally agree on using 3.03 OE-C incredibly, you're able to do distinctive customization of your PSP's look and experience (i.e. XMB menu icons) yet 3.10 OE-a won't be able to.
