And why did Jason Newsted leave Metallica. He was awesome with them! The new guy sucks and did Metallica even put out a new CD with the new guy?

Listen, Metallica has been in a death spiral of suckiness since Cliff Burton died in the 80s. Justice for All was a decent album, and then that was it ... it just got worse and worse. "Load" could not have been more appropriately titled. Jason probably quit because he was embarassed by what Metallica became after he joined. After all, the guy was in Flotsom and Jetsom for crying out loud.
Rage fell apart because all those guys are a**holes to the point that they couldn't even get along with each other. It's further proof that socialism is a pipe dream if the guys who espouse its benefits can't even get along. Zack's ego is bigger than your neighborhood, and the rest of the guys think they are so talented that all they have managed to make since Rage is a Rage album with Chris Cornell. The music Rage made changed the face of metal and heavy rock, but when you really listen to the lyrics, it's hard to enjoy the music. I just don't get much out of being called a fascist and racist when I'm listening to music. I'd rather find a band that plays good music and doesn't insult me, my country, and our way of life.
