I have just taught my Granny to suck eggs, and if I can just get my hands on an old dog...

It's okay to teach an old dog new tricks, but myths work on different levels, they have truth whether they are literally true or not.

While it woud be nice, you still have to assume that there are myths that need busting ^_^
Another thing is that you will have to make sure you don't step on anyone's toes by 'busting' said myths. Myths and religions are closely linked- so many people may believe that certain 'myths' are true. Folklore has to have some basis- as a lot of folklore does date back to factual grounds. And most myths likewise. I know people who still believe that the Greek Gods and Goddesses are still our divining power. So to tell them otherwise may step offend.

But common myths such as walking under ladders and peacock feathers etc, I guess you're okay with ^_^ You will just have to make sure not to step onto dodgy ground and risk losing the myth-buster title! But if you're going out of your way to bust myths, make sure they're ones that call for the need to be proven wrong!

People may give you gyp for it, but people will also appreciate the honesty of someone, and will definitely like something factual that you can research, back up, and give a brief history of origins.

Good luck in your crusades- I will be watching with interest ^_^ In love and light, Tasha x

It'd be a good thing for someone to do. Tell people stuff like 'No, 'tip' is NOT an acronym for 'to insure promptness'. For a start, it would be 'ensure.'.
