I'm just wondering: is there any type of activity for which impulsiveness would be a cherished trait? ...I suppose gambling could be one- but what about when you loose? Any thoughts are appreciated

Many jobs that take quick reflexes would be served by impulses where someone acts without thinking about it. Many lives are saved that way. If people thought about it they wouldn't rescue people from burning cars or bilding, lift tractors off people, or land a dysfunctional airplane. I am sure you can think of other things.
