I have a small family and wouldn't mind having some sort of plan and supplies for a disaster like 2012. 2012 is pretty interesting. I am sorry for the category I posted this in. I couldn't find a better one.

Contact your local Mormon Temple. Preparation is a tenet in their religion. There are companies, in Utah, that sell food, etc., that will last a year.
