Does Rosie O'Donnell really believe evangelical Christians are as dangerous as radical Muslims?

I only find evangelical Christians annoying. Rosie seems to think they are akin to radical Muslims, who would gladly chop off her head because of her homosexuality.

Is she so liberal that she can't see true evil over political disagreement?

Responding to the comments of her co-host that militant Islam is a threat to free people everywhere, O’Donnell – famous for her keen intellect – shot back: “Just a minute. Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America.”

She lives here & sees the grief the conservative Christians give homosexuals here.

She does not live there so the horrors the radical segment of Muslims seems acedemic.

Just a little bit of logic would clear that confusion of, but she doesn't seem to want a silly thing like logic to interfere with her liberal rants.

In one sense, she is right. But only in the sense of the old joke/riddle. "Which wieghs more? A pound of feathers or a pound of bricks? They both weigh the same - a pound."

A christian who murders in the name of Christianity is just as bad as a Muslim who murders in the name of Islam. The difference is that the Muslim who murders in the name of Islam is reveered in much of the Islamic world. But a Christian who murders in the name of Christianity is put in jail.

Islam is going through their "dark ages" just a Christianity had it's own a few centuries ago.

For radical christians inflicting mass homicide, merely consult from: Salem Witch Trials, The Inquisition, The conquest of the Americas (particulalry the Spanish expansions), the Crusades, etc. Judging from statements made by ability of many radical Christians, they does no longer techniques seeing those days come back. call of a few radical Christians: Billy Graham, Pat Robertson, and that i think Rush Limbaugh (who demands the dying of all liberals and people who don't think comparable to he does) between different suited (reich) wing nut jobs.

I am a Christian and I go to the church of christ, and a quite conservative one. Although I do not share many of the opinions of my parents, I still believe that many things are wrong. Such as her way of life. There can be extreme liberals and conservatives. She is just going crazy right now. Dont worry, its one persons opinion. And as long as she continues to make a fool out of herself she is bringing no one to her side. Yes, I do get teased and sometime even shunned b/c some of my conservative beliefs, but they are mine, and I am not shoving them in anyone Else's face. The Christians that are going completely out of their way to get on TV and say that everyone is damned probably reads that bible enough to take things out of tense. Being a christian is not about damning everyone it is about living a good life. The are evangelical Christians that even get on my nerves. But, Rosie O'Donnell is just mad b/c of the difference in opinions. And there is noting we can do about it. She screams about everything, and yes once you do it enough you can start believing that we are all just as dangerous as radical Muslims. Most every sect has strong feeling about something.

Elton John made a similar statement. They are so addicted to their lifestyle that they try to demolish anything they feel threatens it. Relax, no one's going to chop off your head. The worst anyone will do is pray for you and try to convince you to stop sinning so you can go to heaven. Hardly the same as strapping bombs to themselves and running into a gay club.
