Please remember what Easter is really about.
The Lord wants you at home for a special reason.
It's possible that He is keeping you from something unpleasent... maybe an accident or something.
Whatever the reason it is surely in your best interest.
If you will try... you will find that something reason, and it will surely draw you closer to Him. Maybe theres a discovery waiting for you that if you were at the pageant you would'nt find. Don't be sad. When you smile it makes the Lord happy.
Just remember that Easter is about celebrating Him and what He did for us.

Hey, remember the nature of the season.
If you feel bad, that you perhaps missed an opportunity you should have taken, remember there's always forgiveness -- that's what the cross was about.

If you are just sad you've missed an opportunity, and that nothing good can come of that, remember that the hopelessness of Friday gave way to the celebration of Sunday.

What was seen as bad one day turned out as a surprise of "biblical" proportions. In the words of a famous preacher, "It may be Friday but Sunday's Coming."

Check out the video below for encouragement.

Call and ask if there is some job you can do, like seat people or hand out programs. They might be glad for the help and you would feel a part of things.
