Yes I was aware that Saddam hated the entire Wahabi based movement because it threatened his personal power and beliefs. Despite whatever Saddam's shortcomings Iraq had one of the most educated and secular societies in the middle east, despite the embargoes placed on it after the first gulf war. Whereas the Bin Laden believe in strict adherence to Muslim law.
People here are really to blame just look at what goes for news these days, Anna Nicole Smith and other sensational stories are the order of the day.
Read one of the answers regarding the fact how Bush, Rice and Cheyney did connect Saddam to 9/11.

a lot of human beings seem for a rapid and common answer to spring into action. Osama Bin weighted down in Afganistan could have been adequate to try this wisely. This Iraqi conflict subject has no longer something to do with 9/eleven. Iraq and Saddam had much less to do with it than did Syria, Saudi Arabia or Iran. those 30% have been offered a invoice of things and can't see for themselves what the data are. yet they are the minority, international!

The Bush administration never said there was a link between Osama and Saddam.
The Bush administration neither implied or said Saddam was connected to 911.
If I'm to be convinced any of this bull Dun is true put up or shut up. EVIDENCE you know a speech a letter not something that you interpret him as saying.

Saddam hated terrorists. On the other hand, no one wants to know or believe how close the Bush family is to the bin Laden family. It just cracks me up when people start telling tall tales about Saddam. Like they know how to speak or understand Arabic enough to learn what he's ever said. They hear it in English on their tv, so it must be true. Iraq should show George Bush on their stations and add lib to everything he's saying in Arabic. Show the hundreds of people Bush had put to death while being a governor and turn that story into: How Bush kills his own people....

No, they don't. Most American still believe that Saddam Hussein had something to do with the terrorist attacks on 9/11.
Although I wouldn't say they hated each other, there were on opposite ends of the spectrum of the same religion, but were both unified in their disgust and distrust of the United States.

Saddam hated anyone who would have power.
Osama is deeply religious and considers Saddam an infidel.
Thats why the link is so absurd.
Add: There is NO EVIDENCE Saddam and Osama EVER worked together. Jesus, you guys will by anything they sell and you call others conspiracy theorists?

Moot point, we don't know, because we are at war with both, well, one of them. Does it matter, if it does, why? That is like saying hitler didn't like Japans leader. It doesn't do us any good if they don't like each other.

Goodness sake, we've been watching them kill each other and other peoples around them for several centuries. It's just not that important to us.
They attack us, we attack back.

Whether they liked each other or despised each other, both were fully capable of using the other to achieve their goals. Since both of their goals included hurting the US, I can see how they could get over their animosity and work together.
