When i do a spell, I find it generally works pretty well. It works better when I do it for someone else. ( I never do a spell for someone else if they don't ask for it, and only for loved ones, never for hire. I think the reason I can do a better job for someone else is that when I am casting for myself, I might be too close to my situation to see it clearly, while I can see another's situation clearly to cast for them. But when I cast for myself alot of those spells work too, I'm just more successful with spells I cast for others) But 99% of the time, I look for other ways to solve my problems first, and if things aren't working out, then I might cast a spell to help me in whatever way I think it might help. But spellcasting involves an investment of energy, and is not to be done lightly or frivolously. The first rule of magic, is if a bear is charging at you, don't waste time waving your hands around, when a club will do. It means, use common sense first. The investment involved in successfully casting a spell, is an investment in time, and personal thought and energy. I imagine if one tries to cast a spell and it doesn't work, they may not have made sufficient commitment to making the change desired. There is also a possibility that if you cast a spell, and it doesn't work, maybe you were praying for something unethical that you know you shouldn't be praying for. A spell is an intense form or prayer, that involves using symbols for your mind to focus on. Prayer shapes energy as well, just for Christians, the symbols are different. As for whether magic comes from the devil, it is the intentions of the person praying that makes such a thing evil or not, and that includes people that abuse Christian prayer, not just magic.

Ok this question do you believe that a spell will work or a magick can be done for good? If your answer is "YES" then ITs real....Magick only works if you believe in it....If you cast a spell and you dont truely believe then no its not gonna work..

I started a year ago learning then gradually casting spells..I have enjoyed learning and seeing and getting to know the GODS and GODDESS i work with....

If you wanna to learn something and you think you might be interested in Magick and spells then read the book solitary witch I think its by scott cunnigham(????)..I think.... I dont have it handy to look at...

I started out with simple candle magick.......Good luck with your quest in the truth.......Do you know what the greatest part about this is that the "christians say its they devils work and it evil but its really not there is a rede most of us go by and harm none and do what you will. Plus there is the Law of three which right I havent came to believe in alot of ppl believe in and thats great....Everyone is different and have several different believes. Doesnt make them a bad person.

SO if you believe its for real and if you don't then you wouldnt be asking....

Magic, spells, prayer, etc. are all in the same category of poppycock.

You CAN manifest things into your life, though. Maifesting takes belief, passionate desire, and clear connection to the Devine Oneness. I've done it thorughout my life, and so has my wife (she did it just today, as matter of fact--on a small matter, mind you, but manifested none-the-less).

You cannot manifest something that "controls" another's free will. That means you cannot manifest that someone specifically fall madly in love with you. You can manifest that you create a wonderful, deeply loving relationship with the person that is right for you.

Where do you start to learn this? Start by rejecting what man has taught for last 4000 years--with exceptions. You need to recognize that the human raced is in collectively blinded and deafened by what is taught in schools, at home, in churches, synogogs, temples, and mosques. Start thinking critically and reading a LOT about alternate ways of looking at spirituality.

Read Eckhart Tolle, Wayne Dyer, Dali Lama, and many others in the Spirituality/Self-Help/"new age" section of book stores. Avoid the Religion and Occult sections.

Talk with people about their beliefs and feelings. See what FEELS right to you, and adopt it into your belief system.

Is there a "right" way? No. Many great teachers over the eons have stated that there are many paths up the mountain. There is no "one, true way" to the ultimate goal of ENLIGHTENMENT. Find your own path, and follow it with joy and anticipation.

Peace, Love, and Joy to you.

Well that depends on the spell you are casting. What you want when you cast and if it's the right spell and time of the casting. It also would depend on how much faith you put into a spell. If you are true to your faith whatever it may be don't you believe in certain things. In the Wiccan Rede, "May it harm non do as thou will". This means if your spell will hurt or is malice in some way shape or form then it may not work or come back to you times three. There is libraries of information on these type of books, from spell casting to the Wiccan belief system. Have a Great Day

Well, they could to a certain extent...
I believe that if you want something really, really bad and you wish extremely bad for it... it will happen. But if you use magic just because you're too lazy to do things yourself, it won't.
For instance, if a man rapes you and you get pregnant, you can wish bad luck on him more than anything, and he might lose his job and get robbed. But if you want to do those Harry Potter-esque spells and just chant random spells to open doors or something, of course they won't work.
So, yes, if you want something bad enough, some spells and magic will work. But you can't rely on it. You need to take matters into your own hands.

yes, they do

call it what you may, but ...
when you break it down
1)desire +
2)energy with intention and focus +
3)belief in the outcome =
4)result

whether you call it prayer, magic, magick, spells, esp, mind control, witchcraft, voodoo, etc ...
it still works
there is the placebo effect with every drug ever tested, EVERY SINGLE DRUG tested has a percentage of the control test group that ...
GETS BETTER with no drug at all.
that is a FACT!
it's also a proven FACT that prayer can heal.

as was once said,
"a rose by any other name would still smell as sweet"
in other words, the poppycock, baloney, scam, hooey, BS is in nay saying the result of the actions simply because of the title or name for the actions

hope this helps

yes they do when you can focus the energy into the spell. the universe is composed of energy. science has taught us this. energy constantly transforms renews or changes it's shape within and around us. this constant change responds to and is driven by our thoughts, emotions. generally we are unaware of this, forming our environement, which we are unaware of. now when one can harness this and bring the conscious mind and will to bear that's a different situation. Magic is the art of consciously focusing and controling the all pervasive energy. with focus you effect the things around you. emotion can be used to control or influence it. Magic is done from the higher self, proven scientis study psychics and find that when a person enters a psychic trance their brainwaves change. you must learn to shift consciousness. this is a short version of what it takes to do magic. you can have all the spell books in the store do them step by step and nothing will work if you have not brought your self to the point where you have this kind of focus.

Well being a christian, I don't believe in spells and magic. But some people say they do so it depends on what you believe in.

If u believe it works and how strong are you. Because people really still hate, jealous, want something u have and work hard for, and will do things--Example: Have you ever been in a Spanish candle store or Cathlolic Church idols imagines. But the candle shop (look at what people have brought to United States) when you visit other countries you can not bring your God with you openly; And they know where you are.
