I would clean the old gasket off properly ,then install a fresh head gasket then tighten the bolts. I only ever used a head gasket sealant, myself ,when trying to band-aid a problem until I could fix it proper. Maybe I'm stupid peace

At best it's a temporary fix to get you to the next payday. 95% of the time it doesn't work at all. Change the head gaskets and be done with it. It doesn't "repair" anything. It might plug a small leak for a short time.

It will hold up until you start the engine. That crap is worthless. If you have a bad head gasket you need to replace it.

You have wasted your time! All that aftermarket giimicks is a total waste of time, effort, and money! If the heads cracked, replace it and install new gaskets!

It won't hold up. Fix it correctly. How hard is this to understand?
