Why are buckeye fans so Obnoxious?

i have lived in several cities and states and i can say that buckeye fans are by far the worse why are they so bad and obnoxious?

cause they are sore losers. ohio state is the only team thats good in that state and they cant beat florida. about it.

Because there is little emphasis placed on academics or 'class' when you attend OSU. Moving from FL to OH two years ago has made me realize the quality of the college systems here is poor, so it reflects on the people. Plus, just look at their latest basketball 'prodigy', Greg Oden. The All-Hype-O State University is more focused on being a community college for the NBA than an academic institution. I hear he only took two classes, both for 5 credits each, last semester. It's understandable though, because it's not any different in Michigan.

First and foremost..I am a Michigan fan, all biases aside I would have to say that that statement is mostly true (Notre Dame fans may be worse though).
I have been to over 50 college football games, not just at UM or at UM away games, but other teams, and not just when UM wins BIG or small, but when the opposition wins, including 3 UM - OSU games(UM 2 OSU 1) and I would say that OSU fans and ND fans are running 1A and 1B, not just when they win, but when they lose...not just when it's 4-1 (their group of fans to mine), home or away...doesn't matter.
It's not confidence in your team, or a feeling of superiority, it's a legitimate need to impose your will upon someone else who may not share your point-of-view.

Favorite game : 2003 Michigan - 38 Notre Dame - 0...112,000+ fans (2nd largest crowd ever at a college football game and I was one of them!!)
And all of the 'die-hard' ND fans had left the yard by the middle of the 3rd qtr???

Because they keep losin to the best college athletics program in the entire country, the FLORIDA GATORS!!!

No, really. I'm serious. That and because what else would you do if you were from Ohio? It's the Buckeyes or the Cleveland Browns if you like football. If you like basketball, its the Buckeyes or the Cavaliers (who until very recently were very bad). If you like baseball... well, then you're stuck with the Indians, but you get my point.

Because you Michigan fans are all angry and conceded. You think youre better than everyone else. We Buckeye fans are obnoxious to you because you wish you were happy like us. Instead, youre whining about how we beat you 3 years in a row, and trying to find ways to blame the games on the referees. You just wish you were one of us. I think the fans that are most obnoxious are Notre Dame and Michigan fans, and I dont complain about it, you Michigan fans do, and that just proves how whiny and obnoxious you really are.

Why are USC fans so cocky lately? Why are so many fans of so many teams so obnoxious? Yeah they may not be as bad but they are still obnoxious. It is part of being a fan in general, espically to people who aren't fans of that team. After all you aren't saying what makes them so bad. I mean for all I know you are saying they are obnoxious because they love to talk about their team.

Come to Philadelphia and go to an Eagles game wearing an opposing team's jersey. They don't get obnoxious, they get violent. Also, people in Ohio don't have much besides sports and driving extremely slow(I should know, I grew up outside of Dayton).

'Cuz they think they're the best (just like all colleges) but they seem to be the ones that talk the most trash. And then they have little to support it.
