and that she is a disgrace to the high office she holds?

I don't think she was smart enough to cower. She is a fool. She unwittingly passed along her message to Israel and got it wrong. And then she took Bashar's boilerplate about wanting peace and diplomatic relations with the West, his usual line of BS, as gospel truth, while not realizing he said nothing about refuting terrorism.

In her idiocy she also committed a felony and high treason.

If Ronald Reagan had gone to Syria with his wife Nancy, she would not have put on some ridiculous, oppressive costume to appease a backwards society. In fact, Reagan probably would have diffused any tensions by remarking about how his wife was famous in Hollywood for her stunning legs.

Appeasement never works. Showing a false level of "respect" to an illegitimate, rogue nation is never a good idea.

Laura Bush is quite attractive, articulate, personable, and a perfect lady. Maybe she should make the same trip and do some damage control.

Only if you agree that Reagan also cowered and appeased terrorist states and condoned terrorism and is more disgraceful to his office than Pelosi could ever be to hers.

Absolutely not, the best experts in the World have said that the United States needs to engage Syria in talks and work to diplomatically get Syria to assist in creating stability in Iraq and the rest of the Middle East. Isolating the Country as President Bush has been doing simply increases the chances that Syria will work to undermine our efforts in Iraq. The Democrats were elected into power to force change from this administration and if President Bush won't engage in talks with Syria I'm glad someone is. The negative press on this is simply the Bush Administration spinning the story to look bad for Democrats while they continue down a failed strategy.

All of America should be ashamed of her High Treason. She's a joke and the Islamo-Fascists are laughing as we speak at her incompetence.

Nope but the Bush family has long appeased terrorist nations. Saudi Arabia anyone.

No I don't believe that rhetoric. Our current administration has 2 things that they do well. 1)They make money for their cronies. 2) They are very good at telling those that are ignorant what to fear.

Watch the American President, and realize that the character Richard Dreyfus plays is an amalgamation of Karl Rove and Dick Cheney.

These people are only interested in how much they have and how to get more. They do not serve us! They do not serve us! They do not serve us! They serve only the dollar, and are as evil as those they would have us fear.
