you can try a couple things:
-get waterproof eyeliner/mascara or a better brand.
-make sure not to rub your eyes during the day.
-use a lighter color of eyeliner... gold or brown always look subtle and great.

If you are wearing liquid eyeliner ... I would change to a soft pencil ... be sure your face is absolutely clean, put on the smallest amount of moisturizer, put a nice line above your lashes and smudge it carefully with your finger so it looks soft and pretty ... and then under your eyelashes on the bottom lid, put some lighter shade of eyeliner .... so the top gets a black line, and the lower lid gets a gray one which is less harsh ...(this also depends upon the color of your skin ... maybe you can take heavy eye make up...)

Or are you wearing Kajal?
Mine runs too ... just make sure there is no cold cream near your eye area and then use really good Kajal .... I once had some that was a very obscure brand .... I can't remember the name of it ... it came from Southern India and was absolutely terrific ...

Just take some tissue with you when you are going out, and a little mirror and straighten it out every once in a while.....Kajal is terrific!

Instead of using pencil eyeliner try liquid eyeliner, it wont smudge, but it's not easy to apply, takes lots of practice.

She-Laq by BeneFit. It's awesome, and makes eyeliner, shadow, and lipstick all stay put. Have the makeup artist at the counter show you how it works.

Put a little bit of sheer powder on you lid (especially near the lash line where you're going to put the liner) using an eyeshadow brush. It won't show and it helps it stick.

Try a different brand. It never runs for me, unless I cry. If you cry a lot or something just get the waterproof kind. But if you don't, I recommend a different brand.

use a better quality eyeliner. the extra money is worth it. liquid eyeliner usually lasts longer.

Ok it depends on what type you wear first. I use a pencil. And then I use an eyeshadow the same color as the liner to "cement" it so it stays in place.

I had that too! well, i started using a more expensive kind, and i put it a little les close to my eye, so your eye-water doesn't blend with your eyeliner!
