No, but she did severely undermine the seperation of the branches of government by chosing to represent our country against the wishes of executive branch in international affairs. That is not the job of the legislative branch and is reserved.

Her actions were legal, but seditious.

No speaker Pelosi did not commit a crime. She is just not taking the bush (lowercase for a reason) regime's word for it. She is out investigating our international political affairs and the bushites are worried. They shouldn't be worried if there is nothing amiss.
I am glad she is operating independently of bush. I think she needs the American people's support in understanding and getting to the bottom of our issues in the middle-east.
I also believe that she could be more effectual in our international relations with Syria and other countries because she is willing to listen and reflect instead of this blind, gung-ho, forceful way of handling other people that the bushites perpetuate.

Going to war under false pretenses-- now that is a CRIME! bush should be impeached!

Her party consisted of both Republican and Democratic members of congress. They are allowed to travel and perform 'oversight' of foreign policy; but they cannot make foreign policy, nor can they negotiate or sign treaties, or do anything else restricted to the executive branch by the constitution. So no, neither the Democrats nor the Republicans that visited Syria did anything wrong.

No. She went there to find out the truth of where Syria stands on Iraq and other issues. None of them believe Bush anymore after the way he conned them into using force in Iraq.

Several Republicans went there a week or two ago. You didn't hear them bash that group did you? They also talked with Syria's leader. She did NO negotiating knowing full well she has no authority to do so.

Actually, she did commit a crime. She negotiated with a foreign government without the permission of the President. I guess since she's a politician, especially a Dem, she will never get called on it. But, she really screwed up. She went over there trying to act important and ended up misstating foreign policy with Israel (which required Israel to issue a clarification). What a dope.

No crime what so ever. Just conservatives want to have someone look as bad as Bush.

Travel to Syria isn't a crime... and checking the news, I don't SEE any reports of Congresswoman Pelosi being accused of any crime.

So I don't see the point of your question !

§ 953. "Private correspondence with foreign governments.
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply himself, or his agent, to any foreign government, or the agents thereof, for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects."

She sure did. According to the WSJ, foreign diplomacy is the Executive's job and only he or the people he chooses to represent the United States may conduct foreign diplomacy.

Fact-finding missions are okay, but Speaker Pelosi has no power whatsoever to broker peace on the nation's behalf.

This is a felony and an impeachment offense. Put her away for three years in accordance with the law. The crime is treason.
