A tarot reading is unemotional and objective. The cards are laid out in the past, present and future. They stimulate thinking into situations and push an individual to think for themselves and enhance growth. Thus making all changes and shifts themselves and being responsible for the decisions made.
A large enough Tarot spread can give you a very accurate sense of the probabilities inherent in a situation, but the specific way that things turn out are, in the final analysis, up to you -- how well you adapt to the ever-changing conditions that your Tarot reading reflects. A Tarot reading gives a look of what is going on in the Present. It can help you see aspects of a situation that have been invisible to your ego. Tarot is a valuable form of meditation on the Present moment that returns insight and advice. I personaly dont read more than once a full moon on each question, Now if a person has something else that may be related to first question, then another reading is or may be required. May I suggest you take and shuffle your cards and draw one for daily meditation on the card you pulled for yourself, I find this helps.

I don't want make a skeptic out of you, but if you want to know the truth, it doesn't predict anything. Basically, there are so many cards, right. There are only a few types of people in the world. Everyone is not unique. We all share characteristics that psychics cash in on. The tarot cards only mean what the psychic doing the reading wants it to mean. So based upon how you talk, behave, and the way that you look, they make predictions about what type of person you are. Tarot cards is a way for psychics to obtain information about you without asking you for the information. So once they obtain that information they can make better cold readings (or guesses) about you and possibly your future.
Again, I don't want to make a skeptic out of you. Believe what you want.
If a psychic looks at a tarot card and says they see death. It doesn't has to mean a death such as a person dying. It could mean the end of a job. Or the end of a relationship. It could be a animal that died sometime during your life. Remember, psychics are never wrong. When they guess correctly about your life, then that is called a hit. When they incorrectly guess about your life, it is called a miss. So they are never wrong. They just miss and continue on with the reading.

I find that I am generally too close to my situation to be able to give myself an objective reading, Tarot or otherwise, and I think most others would tell you the same. The no more than one reading a month is an opinion on the part of whoever it was that told you that, and no more than that. Have as many readings as you think you need to explain the situation to you. There is no harm in asking the same question more than once, but if you keep asking about your love life over and over again, you might miss out on valuable insights if you asked for readings on other things that might have a bearing on the question you keep asking over and over again....but if you ask the same question once a month, and are keeping track of each reading, I suppose it would help you spot trends, etc... The most that any form of divination can do for you, is to summarize the current situation and trends, and make a prediction based on if things continue in the same direction. Anything could occur to change that...

It depends on the clarity of your question (are you asking your question clearly or is it muddled), your focus (think only of your question and the people involved), your deck attuned being to you. (for instance if you use someone else's deck it won't give you a good reading)
If you ask the same question more than once, you will probably get a different take on the question. Let's say, I ask "How's my life going" one reading may discuss my love life, another fiances.
If your question is specific, How is my future with (insert boyfriend/girlfriend) then it could give you different aspects of the relationships, and possible futures based on emphasis on those revelations.
Most importantly remember tarot is only a focus tool, a guide to help you realize what is in your path, so you can change it. You can read as often as you like, provided you don't get carried away, and live solely by the cards. The future is always in motion, thus can always be changed.

I find my readings very accurate and may do several a day. But it seems to me that if you ask the same question over and over it is because you didn't like the answer you got in the first place. And if that is the case I would have to ask why are you bothering to have them read if you already know what you would like to hear? I may ask for clarification, but on specific parts of an answer, never the same question again and again.

I read my cards often and I never heard there is a rule about how often..and I usually ask a general question such as "what will my life be like in the next 6 months" or similar to that

Accuracy depends on experience.
I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't read more than once a month, and it can't harm to ask questions more than once.

The problem with reading for yourself is that it is colored by your own hopes and fears perceptions, desires and so on. I like a blind read myself
