Uhhh...draft dodgers were lefties, as radical as they come. You saying lefties support President Bush?

Maybe they wised up. Some people get a backbone with age. Some stay more afraid to offend their ideology than to defend their country.

Kind of silly to base it on two examples. Maybe we should see who the draft dodgers mostly were politically, today and in that era.

Carter did the right thing pardoning the Draft dodgers, it helped get the Vietnam mess behind us.

It is very hypocritical to get a pardon....and then support Bush's endless wars.

That is so true..........
being as bush is a dodger himself, and I do not think he had even the excuse of being anti-war, he just was priveledged enough that he thought he was too valuable to be risked losing while serving the country.......
